What Kinds Of Specialty Auto

Infinity offers a Classic Collector Program for specialty automobiles that are kept as collectibles. It is a program presented using a servicing agreement with Great American Insurance and its associate businesses.
Vehicles that are eligible for the program include:
-
Truck and Jeep type vehicles (must be over 25 years old and of show quality or condition)
-
Antique vehicles (must be at least 25 years old)
-
Classic vehicles (must have been built over 15 to 24 years ago)
-
Modified vehicles (must be over 20 years old with severely mechanical and/or cosmetic alterations, but still maintain its primary identity)
-
Exotic vehicles (must be less than 15 years old and a rare make, model or production)
- Kit or replica vehicles (only vehicles that were built from a package by the kit’s manufacturer or an experienced auto assembler are eligible)
Vehicles will fall under certain mileage allowances for each plan. You can choose between annual mileage plans of 1,000, 3,000 or 5,000. Vehicles are not allowed to be used for commuting to work or school, standard personal use, business or commercial use, racing, or as a replacement for a regularly used vehicle or as a backup vehicle. You may enjoy leisure driving, as well as enter parades, car shows and auto club events.
You may be surprised to learn that your specialty auto insurance plan is a lot less expensive than your personal auto policy. Infinity believes that because these are the types of cars that people use extreme caution with and aren’t used for daily transportation, these vehicles aren’t as high risk.
Another special feature offered to specialty car owners is the Driver Club 24 hour roadside assistance. It’s added at no additional cost when you purchase a specialty auto insurance policy. It includes towing, battery jump starts, lockout service, flat tires support and fuel delivery if you run out of gas.
